When something goes wrong with your plumbing or heating, you want someone who knows what they’re doing, explains what’s happening, and treats your home with respect. That’s the kind of service we believe in at Casper Plumbing & Heating.

We’re a family-owned plumbing, heating, and cooling company based in Quincy, Massachusetts. We work with homeowners and businesses throughout Quincy, Dorchester, South Boston, and the surrounding South Shore communities, providing dependable repairs, installations, and maintenance.

Our approach is straightforward: listen to the problem, take the time to understand what’s causing it, explain the available options, and focus on getting the work done properly.

A Family-Owned Company That Takes Its Work Personally

Being family-owned shapes how we approach our business. We understand that when someone calls a plumber, they’re trusting a stranger with an important part of their home or property.

That responsibility matters to us.

Whether we’re responding to a leak, working on a heating system, or completing a larger installation, we want our customers to feel comfortable asking questions and understanding the work being performed.

We believe good service comes down to more than technical ability. It also means communicating clearly, respecting people’s time, and taking pride in the finished job.

Honest Answers. Practical Solutions.

Not every plumbing problem requires a major repair, and not every aging heating system needs to be replaced.

We believe customers deserve to understand what’s wrong before deciding what to do about it.

Our team evaluates the situation, explains what we find, and discusses the options available. Sometimes that means making a repair. Other times, replacing an aging component or system may be the more practical long-term decision.

Our goal is to help customers make informed choices about their plumbing and heating systems without unnecessary confusion or pressure.

That’s what The Most Honest Plumbers Around means to us.

Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for Local Homes and Businesses

Homes and buildings throughout Quincy and the South Shore have different needs. Some have older boilers, radiators, and plumbing systems that have been in place for decades. Others have newer equipment requiring modern installation and maintenance practices.

We work with both.

Casper Plumbing & Heating provides residential and commercial services, including plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, water heater service, boiler and heating repairs, cooling and HVAC services, gas line work, and plumbing installations.

From an everyday plumbing issue to a more complicated system problem, we bring the same attention to detail and commitment to doing the job properly.

We Know the Homes Around Here

Working in Quincy and the surrounding communities means encountering everything from older homes with aging pipes and heating equipment to newer properties with modern systems.

An older home in Dorchester may have very different plumbing and heating needs than a recently renovated property in Braintree or Weymouth.

Understanding those differences is an important part of the job.

We take the condition of the property, the existing equipment, and the customer’s needs into account when evaluating a problem. Rather than assuming every building needs the same solution, we focus on what makes sense for the system in front of us.

The People Behind the Work

A plumbing and heating company is only as dependable as the people who show up to do the work.

At Casper, we value practical experience, attention to detail, and professionalism. Our technicians work directly with plumbing, heating, and cooling systems, helping customers understand problems and get their homes and businesses running properly again.

We want every interaction, from the first phone call to the completed service, to reflect the kind of company we’re proud to represent.

Because the work matters, but so does how people are treated along the way.

Questions We Hear

Do You Handle Plumbing, Heating and Cooling?

Yes, all three. Casper works across plumbing, heating and cooling for homes and businesses alike, which matters in older buildings where a plumbing problem and a heating problem are frequently the same problem. One visit can cover a leak, a drain, a water heater or a heating system that has stopped working, rather than splitting a single job across two companies. Our services page groups the work by trade so you can see where your problem fits.

What Areas Do You Serve?

Quincy is home, and the work reaches Dorchester, South Boston, Braintree, Milton, Weymouth, Hingham and other South Shore communities. Our service area pages list every town we cover, with what tends to be different about the plumbing and heating in each one.

Is Casper Plumbing & Heating Licensed and Insured?

Yes. The company works under a Massachusetts master plumber license and holds its own Massachusetts plumbing corporation license. In this state those are two separate registrations, and the board that issues them holds the master on record responsible for the work the business performs. Both numbers are public and can be checked on the Commonwealth’s own license search in about a minute. Our licenses, permits and insurance page shows you exactly how to look them up, because nobody should have to take a contractor’s word for it.

Do You Work With Businesses as Well as Homes?

Yes. Casper works residential and commercial across plumbing, heating and cooling, which includes landlords, property managers, condo associations and small business buildings, where a fixture out of service is a business problem rather than an inconvenience. Multifamily work has its own rhythm as well: tenant access, a building engineer to coordinate with, and in the heating season a legal obligation to keep units warm. Our commercial page covers that side of the shop.

How Do I Get a Job Started?

Describe the problem through our contact form or call (617) 549-5734. The form asks whether we can call you back in the next ten minutes and, if not, what time works, so the callback lands when you can actually pick up. Tell us what is happening, which floor or unit it is on, and whether water is running or heat is out, and that is usually enough to decide what goes on the truck.
